1. Platform Scope
HomeRoots provides software for homeowner and contractor workflows. HomeRoots is not a contractor, insurer, lender, broker, or escrow provider.
2. Account and Eligibility
You must provide accurate account details and maintain the licenses, insurance, and registrations required for the services you offer.
3. Marketplace Workflow
Contractors operate as independent businesses. HomeRoots does not guarantee lead volume, quote acceptance, or job outcomes.
4. Payments and Fees
Some jobs use HomeRoots Pay while others are paid directly between homeowner and contractor. Review windows and dispute workflows follow HomeRoots policy and payment-provider requirements.
5. Data Sharing and Privacy
Contractor access to homeowner data is limited to permissions granted through request and job workflow states.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not misuse homeowner data, attempt unauthorized access, manipulate marketplace activity, or violate applicable law.
7. Disclaimers and Limits
Services are provided on an "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. HomeRoots does not warrant third-party work quality or contractor business performance.
8. Terms Updates
HomeRoots may revise these terms. Affected users are required to accept active versions before continuing in-app.
